How to Use Multiple Cameras in a Session?

Modified on Tue, 17 Dec, 2024 at 9:37 AM

If you want to use more than one camera in a session, here’s a simple trick to achieve this:

Steps for Coaches:

  1. Open Your Workshop Room:
Start by opening your workshop room as a coach.
  2. Join as a Participant:
Open a second browser instance (e.g., an incognito window in Chrome) and join your workshop room using its URL.
  3. Mute the Audio:
In this new session, mute the audio to prevent echo or feedback.
  4. Use a Second Camera:
You can now use this second browser instance to activate another camera. Additionally, you can name the camera view by updating the participant name field.
  5. Add More Cameras if needed:
Repeat the process to add additional cameras. Each new camera view requires a separate browser instance.

Steps for Students:

Students can also join the workshop room with multiple cameras by following a similar process:

  1. First Camera: Join the coach's workshop room through the regular browser instance.
  2. Second Camera: Open another browser instance (e.g., an incognito window) and join the same workshop room with the URL. Ensure to mute the audio in this instance.

Additional Features for Coaches:

  • Manage Camera Views Remotely: As a coach, you can toggle views or manage the display layout for all participants using the "Toggle View" and "Apply to All" options.
