Managing the Screen Layout in doozzoo

Modified on Thu, 2 Oct at 5:09 PM

Quick guide:

In doozzoo you can change the screen layout anytime via the “Change View” icon. Choose between Solo, Duo, Quartet, or Ensemble and decide whether the layout applies only to you or to all participants.

Selecting a Layout

To change the layout, click the “Change View” icon in the bottom-right corner of your session.
This opens the “Change View” menu.

Here you can select your preferred layout. Depending on the choice, one or more video windows will be displayed in a larger size, while the remaining windows (if available) will appear as smaller thumbnails in the bottom-right corner.

Note

  • The Duo layout is only available when at least two video windows are visible.

  • The Quartet layout is only available when at least four video windows are visible.

Layout Options

  • Solo: One large video window, all others as small thumbnails

  • Duo: Two large video windows, all others as small thumbnails

  • Quartet: Four large video windows, all others as small thumbnails

  • Ensemble: All video windows displayed at equal size

Applying Layout to All Participants

The option “Apply to all” is enabled by default.

  • Enabled: Your selected layout is synchronized across all participants. This is useful when you want everyone to see the same view (e.g., in a teaching scenario).

  • Disabled: Each participant can choose their own individual layout.
