Release 4.0

Modified on Sun, 26 Feb, 2023 at 9:35 AM

We are pleased to present you the latest version of our software, doozzoo 4.0. In this version we have fundamentally reworked the interface and improved the stability and some basic functions. Below you will find a summary of the most important changes:

What's new

  • Revamped UI: We've modernized and optimized the entire user interface (UI) of the app for easier and more intuitive navigation through the dashboard. The new design is also even more usable on tablets.
  • Social logins: you can now log in even easier with just a few clicks using your Apple ID, Facebook account or Google account. If you already have a doozzoo account, you can add these social logins later so you don't have to remember as many passwords.

Improvements

  • Latency compensation: The calculation of local latency compensation has been revised and is now even more accurate and reliable. Manual adjustment of latency compensation in the settings or during the session is now also possible via a slider. You can use the plus-minus buttons to fine-tune the value even more.
  • Analysis app: The display of chords in our analysis app has been improved and now displays even complicated chords more clearly.

Other

  • Piano view: When you open the piano, only the matching keys on your computer keyboard and the octave labels are now displayed. You can still turn on the names of each note via the view menu.
  • Metronome app: The remote control function has been removed from the metronome app. To have your students play to the metronome, simply change the playing direction in the room menu.
  • Invitation emails: All non-German speaking institutions can now send automated English invitation emails to their teachers and students.
