4. Latency correction | Student – Institution

Latency correction allows you to play along with audio files or the metronome in doozzoo while others hear you in sync.
To make sure everything works smoothly, you need to run this short test before your first lesson:

  1. Click "Settings" in the Dashboard.

  2. In the "Audio input latency compensation" section, select "Recalculate here" and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: If you are using doozzoo on an iPhone or iPad, you will need to manually set the latency compensation value using the +/- buttons and slider, as automatic calculation does not work on these devices. Here you can find instructions on how to do this.

You only need to run the test again if you use a different device or make changes to your audio setup, such as connecting a different interface or a new USB microphone.
