Thanks to latency correction in doozzoo, your students can hear you in sync with the metronome or audio files while you play.
To make sure everything works smoothly, you need to run this short test before your first lesson:

  1. Click "Settings" in the Dashboard.

  2. In the "Local Latency Compensation" section, select "Recalculate here" and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: If you are using doozzoo on an iPhone or iPad, you will need to manually set the latency compensation value using the +/- buttons and slider, as automatic calculation does not work on these devices. How to calibrate the "local latency compensation" manually?

You only need to run the test again if you use a different device or make changes to your audio setup, e.g. connect a different interface or a new USB microphone. Please also inform your students that they need to do this test before their first lesson. Here you can find a tutorial for students who are just starting with doozzoo.
