The audio level meter shows a deflection, but still no signal from the microphone is recorded or transmitted. Then the microphone is probably muted in the sound settings of the microphone.
1. Go to Sound settings (speaker symbol) in the taskbar and open the following menu with the right mouse button and open the sound control panel (red arrow).
2. Select the Recording tab and click on the microphone and go to Properties.
3. under the level then unmute the microphone!
